Silver Winds Gallery is home to over twenty artists and features fine contemporary Southwestern art in a wide variety of styles and media.

Unique acrylic paintings on sculptured canvases, realistic leather sculpture and fine stained glass are highlighted in our gallery, along with a fine selection of pottery, beautiful hand-crafted silver jewelry, wood-turned bowls, and paintings in pastels, oil and watercolor.

The gallery sponsors an art fair each June in coordination with the Pinos Altos businesses and Silver City/Grant County art organizations. The Pinos Altos Art Fair will be held this year on June 9, 2001. The fair promises to be an exciting event with over fifty artists and crafters participating. Great food and live music, along with children's activities, will round out the fair.

Silver Winds Gallery is located in the charming old gold-mining town of historic Pinos Altos, which is just six miles north of Silver City, New Mexico in the Southwest section of the state. At an altitude of 7040 feet, Pinos Altos (tall pines) offers beautiful mountain views of the Gila National Forest and great accessibility to many area attractions.
